Why is it that buyers ask, “How long has it been on the market?”  Who cares? If they like the house and it’s been on the market forever, does that make them not want to buy it?  Yes, it does.  We all want approval and acceptance. 

“Oooo, multiple offers!  Others want what I want.  It must be good.  Let’s offer over asking.” 

When houses were selling within a week, everyone wanted a house.  Now that houses are priced well and buyers can think about their decision without the tremendous pressure of competition, they’re going to wait it out.

Wait what out?  There’s no multiple offers.  Interest rates are amazingly good.  (I remember 18%. Not for myself; I’m too young.  But I do remember it.)  Sellers are finally realizing that they’ll have to negotiate.  Loans are available to the qualified.

The second selling season of the year has begun.  Get busy and buy that house before someone beats you to it.  You have permission.  Buy!  Buy!  Buy!
