Hey – that rhymes – almost. I must be tired. Anyway, I had to be in Half Moon Bay this morning at o’dark thirty. The steam was coming up off the Crystal Springs Reservoir – it was gorgeous. I didn’t realize how eerie the picture would be and I didn’t realize how dang dark it was at that time of the morning.

This is one of my favorite photos. The tractor driver thought it was funny that I was taking pictures of him. It’s a hobby I rediscovered when I started blogging – and I’m so glad I did!
Half Moon Bay has just 12,500 residents. It’s a quaint small town with a true Main Street. And is home to the world famous Maverick’s surfing competition and the yearly Pumpkin Festival.

Reba Vanderpool is an interior designer who wondered what her role would be in the post 9/11 world. Discovering the answer to that question has proven to be an interesting and incredible journey … in fact, almost unbelievable.
Following her intuition and answers that came during meditation and journaling has led to many synchronicities that have developed into businesses that she would never have dreamed for herself. Yet, almost magically, they are perfect for her, and are leading to even greater opportunities.
Reba is an advocate of letting go of trying to control your life, and instead, asking how we can be of service. If we are brave enough to follow whatever is presented when we ask that question, the sky is the limit and work is no longer … well work! It is our passion. Reba’s advice: When the universe calls, say YES!
Come hear Reba explain how her life has dramatically changed by trusting the universe. She’s beautiful inside and out – you won’t want to miss her amazing story in words and pictures.

This guy thought it was pretty funny that I was taking his picture but I was the one having fun. One of the best restaurants – actually several – around are within walking distance of this field. I’ll have to fill you in on them when it’s not 2 in the morning.
Yesterday it was 85 degrees outside but so air-conditioned in my San Mateo office that I had the heater on. When I went to get lunch, I never went back. Unfortunately I wasn’t really prepared for my spur of the moment trip to the beach, but that didn’t stop me.
I just found a video showing the completed Devil’s Slide Tunnel. Watching it makes me want to vomit, but it’s really neat. It’ll be a white-knuckle ride the first few times driving over it.
