Seller Assistance Program Helps San Mateo Buyers
In an effort to continue the stabilization of neighborhoods throughout the country, including San Mateo County, Fannie Mae has extended its assistance program.
Homepath is Fannie Mae’s “subsidiary” handling the sale of its foreclosures. In order to get those properties sold Fannie is offering 3.5% of the purchase price for buyers to use as closing costs, the purchase of new appliances or a combination of both – you choose.
The Homepath Mortgage offers a minimum 3% down payment, no appraisal or mortgage insurance required.
The Homepath Renovation Mortgage allows for financing for both the purchase and light renovation.
Time Is Running Out
The program ends June 30th, 2010 – you must have your keys by then – and is only available on select properties – those owned by Fannie Mae.
