When you’re selling your San Mateo house don’t ever tell Trulia your secrets!
Is It The Realtor’s Job?
Should a Realtor tell a client not to discuss their personal situation with anyone? YES. Should the Realtor inform the client how important it is not to discuss their bottom line price? YES. Or why they’re selling? YES.
The seller did the worst thing I’ve ever seen – ever. They put their “dirty laundry” on Trulia for everyone to see.
I’ve talked about negotiating before.
Negotiating Is An Art
Negotiating is an art. Real estate sales is a game. Ever watched professional poker on TV? A game like that. You can’t go in with all your cards showing. Look at this:
“HAVE TO SELL my remodeled home in three months or less. I put my home on the market on May 1st. My realtor is great and has worked hard . I lowered the price $40,000 the 2nd week to hopefully draw more attention. The home shows nicely and had no major inspection problems. All minor problems have been repaired. I have a couple of questions.
#1 : Does a pool help sell a home or not?
#2 Because i want to sell my home quickly like 30-90 days tops when should i lower my price again. comparables are a little higher priced then I’m asking. I really need to sell. I’ve listed my home May 1st for xxxxxx and reduced the price around two weeks latter to xxxxxxx. What would be a good time to lower the price again because I want to sell MY HOME IN no more than three months? I’m thinking a even xxxxxx? Would xxxxx look even better or xxxxxx ? Thanks Owner” – and she puts her name.
Please don’t ever do that.
