Filoli 2011 Season Opens February 8th

Fioli is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen.  The gardens are amazing and they change weekly.  There are many, many events planned this year.  I encourage you to check their calendar.  You’ll find all sorts of classes, exhibits, and special events.

  1. It’s a couple of years since I was at Filoli…. definitely time for a return visit!

  2. Hi Vicki,

Thank you so much for sharing your enthusiasm for Filoli with the community. All of Filoli staff and over 1300 volunteers appreciate your support. Just in case you did not know, Filoli has almost a million daffodils blooming from about the 3rd week in February to the 2nd week of March (depending upon Mother Nature). Besides daffodils in containers and garden beds, there are also 2 large daffodil meadows in different sections of the Garden with little paths through each of them, so you can walk through these meadows of glorious, happy flowers. Great photo opportunities! Filoli is the only American Daffodil Society Display Garden on the West Coast.

    THank you again!

    Hi Christina

I definitely plan on bringing myself and my camera to see the daffodils. One of my favorite displays last year was the forget-me-nots with the daffodils. The color combination was spectacular. I’ve actually only been in the house twice because I spend so much time in the garden.

When I was a volunteer I was always amazed at the way that the garden changed each week. It was almost a different place!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!
